New face

My bad on keeping up with the postings. This one is long over due. Asher had his g-tube surgery last week and it went spectacularly. This means that his feeding tube is now a little plug in his stomach instead of the one coming out his nose. It's amazing how much better this is. You can see by the look on his face that he is loving it. He's all recovered from the surgery and is doing great. Enjoy the pics.

Asher has grown so much!! It is a joy to see his litle cheeks filling out. So glad the surgery went so well! You all are awesome parents! God is shining through you all!

Hi Mandi-My name is Wendy and my husband and I live in the Kansas City area and our daughter just turned six weeks old today and she was diagnosed with prader-willi syndrome at 2 weeks old. We also have a blog which

http://irelynpaige.blogspot.com/

I would love to get in touch with you and talk about anything! We are both 33 years old, and we also have two older children, our son Darren is 16 and our middle daughter Alexia (Lexi) is 9. You can email me at occmednurse@yahoo.com. The workingifire account is my hubsband Jeremy's. Our daughter Irelyn also has a g-tube and that is how she gets 100% of her feeding for now. We are going OT/PT and feeding therapy weekly so we hope to see an improvement. I look forward to hearing from you. It is nice to find parents in the same situation so we don't feel so alone and isolated!

Wendy
