I saw another mom do a post like this and I thought it was awesome. Looking where we've been, compared to where we are now really makes me appreciate the progress and growth we've experienced.
3 days later Asher was transferred to the NICU at Children's Memorial Hospital. I was recovering from a c-section and emotionally drained. We felt like we would never get our baby home and were scared for what the future might look like.
He started to gain weight, grow stronger and develop. He had a doctor appointment every 2-weeks and we started lots of therapy.

And his hair kept growing and growing.
And he is very happy...
And so are we!Asher is weighing in at well-over 13 pounds and 24-inches long. He will turn 5-months old in just a few days. We are so thankful he is ours! Thanks for taking a trip down memory lane with me. I can't wait to do this in another 5-months and see the progress he has made.

I love watching Asher grow and I am looking forward to meeting him in person at Kristi and Ryan's wedding. God bless you both and know that we have been praying for you. Robin
I love seeing all the photos of him. I just randomly did that with my photos yesterday...looking back to the day the baby was born. It's amazing how quickly they change and life changes. Happy 5 months little buddy!
so glad you took the time to look back Mandii, what a journey that God has taken you guys on in 5 short months! I am so encouraged in even just reading back through it and seeing pics along the way.
